First Day on Earth (FDOE) is an international collective of artists, musicians, and other creative earthlings linked by the power of expression. Their self-described genre “spacecore” fuses the intensity of post-hardcore with the improvisational spirit of jazz, and the boundary-pushing ethos of experimental rock. FDOE has always been more of an idea than a band, rooted in a desire to approach life and music as if it was always our first day on earth, free of prejudice and full of wonder.
